I have a sender in the threaded hole next to the fuel pump. That's the
main oil feed from the filter boss to the engine. Without an oil cooler
I typically saw oil temps around 10 C above water on the highway. Never
got more than 20 C above water when driving on the track either. Open
road racing would be much harder on the oil temp but I haven't tried
that. With the popular Ford water/oil unit I see water temp pretty much
all the time on the oil temp gauge. The Veglia gauge is so-so accurate,
keep that in mind. Oil is at 90 C approximately with what I think is a
192 F water thermostat.

Dear Jack,
I very much appreciate your motoring philosophy: "The old “track-pushing-hard” syndrome left me a few years back. Always looking for a way to NOT look at the temp gauge on hot days in traffic."

Out of curiosity, where would you add an oil cooler? And would it be an air-to-liquid - or - liquid-to-liquid cooler? Having moved the A/C condenser to the front, I was thinking of using the original condenser-space for an air-to-liquid cooler with a pusher fan. I get the feeling, however, that it’s a waste of time, which sounds good/great to me.

All,
IF the red car is a Pantera - I’m still not convinced -
then there are TWO Panteras in that video.
There is also a longer version of the video on you tube,
which is where I first noticed the second Pantera.
Reviewing the earlier, shorter video posted by Mike ,I can
now see the second Pantera in at least two frames.
This time, there is no doubt it is a Pantera.
If you find it, tell me what is wrong with the treatment of
the rear end on the car.

Dear Will,
Yes, and I still find it remarkable that the historic view of the
club management and resources from those early days with simple-minded
enthusiasts working as best as they could for the club, could have made the
club solvent and kept it that way up to the present when modern marketing
and accounting show us the error of our ways.
Cool is an understatement!, Chuck Engles

I¹ve always thought that was fantastic.
It¹s hard enough to organize an event, but to do it for 25 years, AND to
donate all of the proceeds?
That¹s pretty cool.

"You seem to be someone bound and determined to stir up trouble, up until now, I have tried to
remain quiet, in your last diatribe, I think it was "until Michael Shortt stops messing with me" or something to that effect,
you would stop having these fits of verbal and textual diarrhea.
Frankly, I haven't given you another thought, you simply are not part of any equation on my worksheet.
You simply are a waste of my time which could be better used for something to benefit the membership instead of dealing
with what seems to be a clinically depressed, anti social personality type addicted to drama.
That's changed, at the next BOD meeting I will be seeking to censure you as a member for violating our policies, for sharing
BOD working emails and for not working within channels. I believe in an earlier email, Ed made the process very clear,
go through your Chapter President or contact one of us directly, instead of posting your failures and inability to comprehend
structure and civility.
If you make another very poor decision to continue these actions, I will seek a second censure in 30 days and ask to remove
you from this club.
I am not the only one tried of your behavior, there are enough votes now in place to secure both outcomes.
This is the last time that I will ask you to become a team player and use your energies to help make POCA a better club instead
of trying to destroy it from within.
Michael Shortt
President

type addicted to drama.
That's changed, at the next BOD meeting I will be seeking to censure
you as a member for violating our policies, for sharing
BOD working emails and for not working within channels. I believe in an
earlier email, Ed made the process very clear,
go through your Chapter President or contact one of us directly,
instead of posting your failures and inability to comprehend
structure and civility.
If you make another very poor decision to continue these actions, I
will seek a second censure in 30 days and ask to remove
you from this club.
I am not the only one tried of your behavior, there are enough votes

This is the last time that I will ask you to become a team player and
use your energies to help make POCA a better club instead

Mr. Kunishige,
It appears the theme of a nicer, more friendly, and organized POCA
which operates through channels escapes you.
It also appears a sitting BOD member is sharing BOD ONLY emails with
you, that member should know that
when I find them out, I will put forth a motion to censure them for
violating BOD policy.
Since you are not an elected member of the BOD, you are not entitled to
our work emails, discussions or methodologies
used to arrive at how we do business, once formatted, discussed amongst
ourselves, these same issues
are put forth in an agenda, discussed during an Open BOD meeting where
all members can hear how we take care of business.
I think with the exception of the last 3 minutes of the last BOD
meeting, it was an excellent example of how civil discourse
can happen even between people with disparate points of view.
It is called a process, nothing happens by itself, I think the last 10
years of POCA pretty much proves that point.
In regard to your past, an inability to maintain a job or to operate a
business successfully relates to our situation how?
While owning a toy store would be a dream for somebody like me,
everybody knows that 4 out of 5 new businesses fail in the first year
and of those, 4 out of 5 will never see a fifth year, so your chance of
still operating a toy store for five years was only 10% at best.
Here is why most new businesses fail.
1 Incompetence
46 %
Emotional Pricing
Living too high for the business
Nonpayment of taxes
No knowledge of pricing
Lack of planning
No knowledge of financing
No experience in record-keeping
2 Unbalanced Experience or Lack of Managerial Experience
30 %
Poor credit granting practices
Expansion too rapid
Inadequate borrowing practices
3 Lack of Experiences in line of goods or services
11 %
Carry inadequate inventory
No knowledge of suppliers
Wasted advertising budget
5 Neglect, fraud, disaster
1 %
Nobody judges you, we have all had failures, if you don't try, that's
the biggest failure of all.
You seem to be someone bound and determined to stir up trouble, up
until now, I have tried to
remain quiet, in your last diatribe, I think it was "until Michael
Shortt stops messing with me" or something to that effect,
you would stop having these fits of verbal and textual diarrhea.
Frankly, I haven't given you another thought, you simply are not part
of any equation on my worksheet.
You simply are a waste of my time which could be better used for
something to benefit the membership instead of dealing
with what seems to be a clinically depressed, anti social personality
type addicted to drama.
That's changed, at the next BOD meeting I will be seeking to censure
you as a member for violating our policies, for sharing

By you copying members and non members of POCA on this email list
with your grievances, and personal issues with Michael Shortt; you
are placing the whole club in a negative light. This is adversely
effecting the clubs ability to recruit new members.
Copying the BOD.

Dear Forum,
I am keen to reply to Mr. Michael Shortt's posting
in the Publications Forum of the POCA Forums. From what I think, I am
supposed to be automatically subscribed to post and reply on the General
Discussion sub forums. Alas, I am stymied. I to see that others have
responded to his posting. Help?
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

All,
IF the red car is a Pantera - I’m still not convinced - then there are TWO Panteras in that video.
There is also a longer version of the video on you tube, which is where I first noticed the second Pantera.
Reviewing the earlier, shorter video posted by Mike ,I can now see the second Pantera in at least two frames.
This time, there is no doubt it is a Pantera.
If you find it, tell me what is wrong with the treatment of the rear end on the car.

"After the "accidental" clutch release, I think you gained about 40 Pantera
fans on both sides of the road!"
.... And required 15 spectators to have to change their shorts too!

And who can forget PONE Express II (the club's weed whacker powered

Forest and Georgene introduced to Panteras by taking me to an Italian car
event at the Pocono race track. Needless to say Forest had found me a
Pantera in less than two months. The rest is history. Thru the Pantera

At one time we had 5 Panteras in a town of 7,000 people. Now we are down
to 3 Panteras in town.

Forest and Georgene introduced to Panteras by taking me to an Italian
car event at the Pocono race track. Needless to say Forest had found me
a Pantera in less than two months. The rest is history. Thru the
Pantera community, I have met many great and giving people.
At one time we had 5 Panteras in a town of 7,000 people. Now we are
down to 3 Panteras in town.

Then again, Pantera folks everywhere were always welcoming. I spent
quite of bit of time with a bunch of different people in SoCal back
then

Forest and Georgene introduced to Panteras by taking me to an
Italian
car event at the Pocono race track. Needless to say Forest had
found me
a Pantera in less than two months. The rest is history. Thru the
Pantera community, I have met many great and giving people.
At one time we had 5 Panteras in a town of 7,000 people. Now we
are
down to 3 Panteras in town.

I have a Forest story too. Back when this list was new, I used

Then again, Pantera folks everywhere were always welcoming. I
spent
quite of bit of time with a bunch of different people in SoCal
back
then
too.
