[DeTomaso] DB PMGR starter has a NEW part number

Joe,  

That is the correct part number for a permanent magnet gear reduction starter that will fit our ZF-2 transaxle. 

The application you listed is likely correct. From what I can deduce almost all Ford manual transmissions can use that starter.  

As for why you want that starter, it has more torque to start your engine, it is much lighter than the OEM starter and it is smaller and easier to install and remove past our headers. 

You will need to run a new wire from your starter solenoid to the solenoid on the PMGR starter. 

If you order from DB mention that you are retrofitting this to an older car and they will include the necessary wire
