[DeTomaso] DB PMGR starter has a NEW part number

Would someone please remind me why I WANT a DB Electric starter vs the old type a parts store calls "fits pantera"

And are all sure this is the one I want.    Ford F Truck Bronco 4.9L 300 6Cyl Starter 1965-1996 3223 410-14033

(I need to "school" the shop that holds 5177 ransom)
