You could also just look up the size of the bolt and what you are screwing it into to get an idea of if you're in the right ballpark

  "slider" bolts.  Is the symbol here an indication of torque, and does
  this mean 32 ft-lbs?  Looks like 32 ft lbs is about 43 N meters.
