Does anyone convert the original gauges to modern internals?
I'm converting back to the original Veglia gauges. I forgot how far off they are. The tach isn't even close. Yes, I have the MSD square-sine wave converter, but with this setup, the tach is about 80% off. Plus, the speedo is quite a bit off, due to different tire sizes.
I'd like a tach that's accurate and made to work with an MSD, plus an electronic or GPS speedo, plus mechanical gauges for temp/pressure.
Btw, I also have the sensor from Milwaukee Speedometer Service. I was running an Autometer speedometer for quite a while.
I know about Classic Instruments. That's who I was going to use.

Actually Milwaukee Spedometer Service makes (or made) a straight bolt
on hall-effect sensor. I'm running one now. No right angle adapter.
