You with that brace system you will have no worries of Deck Lid side to side contact with the rear quarters. With ground effects I was pulling over 2G's with a new paint job with no paint nicks.

    Please, don't spread fake news. The deck lid really isn't moving at all, it is the rear quarter panels that are moving into the Deck Lid.
    A good chassis stiffening addition will stop all the deflection Larry Stock
