At least it isn't a $50K engine rebuild.

Not saying it's okay.  Just saying the cost of the rebuild shouldn’t be that terrible, plus it's a great time to go through the engine, replace the probably original timing chain, new rings, decent camshaft, fix the fuel tank sock, replace all rubbers, etc.  You know the drill.

    With NO water in it!!!

    Needless to say the motor is now wrecked. He didn’t know the Pantera water temp sender was in the (empty) water tank…..
