So,

I was talking to a new Pantera owner today who bought an original owner, long-neglected garage find and invested minimal effort to get it running. After a few weeks, he blew an original cooling hose in the engine bay. He saw the steam, knew what happened, saw the water temp going up, but then saw it coming down so told himself everything was fine, and drove it many miles back home. 

With NO water in it!!!

Needless to say the motor is now wrecked. He didn’t know the Pantera water temp sender was in the (empty) water tank…..

Sheesh!
