[DeTomaso] Not Pantera car question

I had the same issue with my 1966 Shelby GT-350 clone which sat for many years. Here are pics of the fuel tank pickup (which is incorporated with the fuel level sender):

It was completely rusted to shreds and bits of debris clogged the hard line from the tank to engine. I wound up replacing the tank, sender/pickup and hard line (and the filter of course) and glory be, the car ran great after that!
