[DeTomaso] Body Service Number Plate

That is pretty unusual. The vast majority were mounted like this:

The earliest known car with a BSN is #4028, and it has its BSN plate mounted on the side (like yours presumably):

So I assume your (James) car is fairly near #4028?  This is the only one I?ve personally ever seen with a side-mounted BSN so there can?t have been many before they switched to the conventional location?
