[DeTomaso] Body Service Number Plate

My 72 has it mounted in the front trunk on top of the driver side wheel well.

My 73L's Body Service Number Plate is made of white plastic with the 5-digit
number stamped into it.

This plate is 1.2" x 3.2" with 1/8" rivet holes at the four corners and the
attached pdf file shows what's written on it.



It's been 8 years since I removed it and now I'm trying figure out where was
located on the car.

I think it was on the top of the pedal box in the front trunk but the
problem is, there are two sets of 4 holes that fit the pattern.

Both sets of holes are along the front edge of the top of pedal box.  So it
looks like Luigi missed the right location on his first attempt and had to
move it.



One set is located pretty near the center of the box, left to right.

The other set it located over towards the driver's side of the box.

Where is this plate located on your cars?



Also, my plate looks pretty ratty.  When I talked to Wilkinson he said he
can custom stamp a new one.  Does anyone have experience with having their
plate replaced?
