[DeTomaso] Curious about bidding on the BAT Pantera last week

I got the impression this one was held back by the panel fit issues with misalignment of rear panel with decklid and possible rear shunt at some point.

The seller was actually pretty honest with photos of all the bad spots, which were typical lead filler cracking for the most part.

Unless they were added later in the auction, there were no shots of the underside of the car. There was rust showing underneath one of the headlight covers and a number of pics of various typical body cracks. I agree, the cars don't look right if the rockers and front valence or rear valence are painted all the way down.

Buyer says some corrosion and body cracks. And to me, Panteras look chubby and misproportioned without the black rocker panels and under the AC fan cover in the rear.
