Yes - I have a square poly shell bonded to the 4 dyna-mat patches and I
was afraid it would buzz. Had luck.
There is a gap around the outside of the poly and if you look closely in
good light there is a line at each side.

A A Ruzzin, gave me a great lesson on placing sound deadening
material.
A A The point is to locate the Dynamat at the nodes (places where
the
A A vibration amplitide is greatest) and just enough of it to 'kill
the
A A buzz'.
A A It all takes some messing around, like driving around with no
door
A A panels installed and nothing on the inner roof.
A A And, the pressure of a one thumb in the right place will simply
kill
A A one vibration mode.
A A I got the doors well with one 3"x 8" piece horizontally in the
middle
A A of each door.
A A I needed to drive the car over to Detroit to have the master do
the
A A roof, but that would be 2500 miles each way.
A A On my own I did get it well damped, with four 6" xA 6" pieces
spread in
A A a square, but I know he'd have used much less.
A A The roof had about 4 modes that I kept chasing around for
several hours
A A until i just threw extra material at them.
