[DeTomaso] CV half shaft conversion - opinions

I installed this kit (the version with adapters for existing ZF flanges)
last summer and overall am really happy; the slight vibrations I was having
under acceleration is completely gone.
One issue I had is that supplied rubber boots failed after first longer
trip; they actually got cut by the edge of the boot flange.
I since replaced the boots with GKN boots and noticed that they allow for
much more articulation angle before the boot flange would contact the shaft.

Had no problems since and would advise to use this boots from the beginning
as it is quite PITA disassembling the whole CV assembly and re-packing the
grease just to replace the boots.

I don't have them on my car, but have had several sets pass through my
hands. They seem exquisitely well-made and the people who received them are
universally pleased.
