Hi Julian,
The passenger side is noticeably different, and a bit ugly to me.
They are not stainless. I assume they are original early steel bumpers, they don't look like pot metal?

Is it really discernible when mounted and is it important if it was okay for the last 40 years? These cars have to have some character and little idiosyncrasies to be semi original!

Subject: [DeTomaso] Front Bumper Tweak Mounting early bumpers and in one, the bottom part that the turn signal mounts in tilts noticeably forward at the bottom. I want to straighten it. I think I can heat the metal on each side of the bottom part, and carefully bend the lower part back? This shows the difference between the two bumpers and where I would apply heat, any suggestions?
