[DeTomaso] Throttle cable

The stock throttle cable does pull the throttle linkage open.

The Jacketed Steel throttle cables don’t really stretch. They can wear,
fatigue and break, but they don’t stretch. Especially if you rotate that
original Tee bracket forwards to move that cable forward to allow for
throttle cable pull on the Holly Carburetor linkage.

That carb bracket Mike showed helps to get the throttle linkage away from
the intake manifold base so it doesn’t interfere and get stuck open like
mine did once doing an Auto Cross, but it doesn’t help so much with the
angle arc pull of the carburetor butterflies.
