[DeTomaso] Dry washing

I've used it for years. On my cars and on customer cars. Not sure how but
it does it but it dissolves and emulsifies the dirt, even oily grime. I
wouldn't use it if is really gritty(eg, sandy) but for general dirt, it
works great, even if the dirt is bloby. Also good on windshields since it
causes the water to bead up. Like other synthetic waxes, it repels dust
which makes your California Duster work better. I really like it because
you can carry it with you.
Things to note: It removes your wax and replaces it with its proprietary
glaze. It's a bit pricey. Best to use it when car is in the shade. Bugs and
tar take a little work. Don't get it on tires. Be careful around grills as
it turns white when dry so you have to be able to wipe it off, but you can
spray it and then drag the liquid over close to the grills, etc.
I use Ultra Ion but either works well.
