[DeTomaso] Exhaust Noise

Pantera owners have tried insulating the decklids and floors, changing mufflers, headers and other parts. Sometimes these help, other times- no improvement. IMHO the only thing that always works for everyone is not driving under light load at 2200-2800 rpms.

   That length of exhaust will always boom somewhere between 1800 and 2200
   rpm Benjamin.
   Maybe Dynamat on the firewall will help but you can't Dynamat the
   window.
   Stay out of that rev range?
