IMHO, and proven by auctions over the last few years, buyers and collectors both want a Pantera with the original 351 Cleveland , next in value would be one with a replacement Cleveland, Third might be a Clevor, Four the Windsor and Fifth, anything else.
You can build a Cleveland unstressed and still get 330 hp, which is plenty to push a 3100 car around.

Those are the folks driving the price increases.
50K is dirt cheap for a semi ratty unmolested Pantera, this one
wasn't
ratty, but it was far from original...No Sale.
