I have a set of Italian shoes for driving the Pantera, naturally. They are
desperately uncomfortable because normally I wear a size 11 EEEE. Ouch! I
often go barefoot instead :)

Just wondering, what type of shoes are you guys wearing when
     experiencing the brake pedal problems?
Most driving shoes have a narrow profile to allow use in confined
     areas even in larger sizes.

Many years ago (late '80's if I recall), Jack Richards wrote an
article about this very problem in a POCA newsletter or Profiles.
With the brake pedal out of the car, he removed the pedal pad in its
entirety. He made a new one, the exact same shape and thickness, but
welded it back on, offset about half-an-inch to the left.
