[DeTomaso] The car we almost bought

We should start a list of stories like Jacks of cars we almost bought or should have bought when we had a chance. Mine was a Mura SV here in Medford I could have had for a song, well 80k about 12 years ago. Little did I know they would have appreciated the way they did. I did write a letter to Jay Leno at the time telling him about the car but never got a reply.

As a recognized expert on things Pantera I was merely trying to point out the difference between facts and opinions. Mike has helped me on more occasions then I can count and I have neither the desire nor the ability to "fill his shoes". It was also not my intent to attempt to compare a MOMO wheel with a Lecarra wheel. I have no vested interest in either. My car came with a Lecarra wheel , so I did not choose it and it in neither a reflection of my preference or my taste. But since it is no longer available for Panteras I can see no point in comparing them, Just for the record my Lecarra wheel is

The driver saw us watching and yelled, "Hey- you want to buy this POS? Make me an offer!" Possibly my third shot at owning a notable car....
