[DeTomaso] Strange electrical issue - is it time for a new starter?

I'm counting on that.  I have 6 batteries between my under-driven 25+
year old cars and I rotate the tender to each one over the week.  It's
pretty labor intensive but cheaper than buying 6 battery tenders :)
The 635CSI drains pretty fast because the NiCds in the dash need
replacing, ironically enough.  The 443 Mustang has a Crane Hi-6 wired
to the battery and that gives it a slow drain as well.
