Peter, you should be able to leave your car sit for two weeks with the battery hooked up, without a battery tender, in a 50 f garage. My Pantera has an Interstate, nothing special battery that is at least 5 years old. From May thru Oct my car will start everytime, anytime with one or two weeks between starts no problems and the battery is hooked up all the time.
During winter Nov - Apr I disconnect the battery Negative wire and hook up a Ctek battery tender($87CDN). I've done this for the last three years. No problems.

Your battery should hold a hooked up charge for two weeks.
