[DeTomaso] Strange electrical issue - is it time for a new starter?

If it's not the battery cutoff switch check the solenoid mounted on the
firewall. Mine went bad and I mistakenly replaced two starters before
finding that I had a cracked solenoid. $12.00 (and $500 for two starters)
plus labor.

The 635CSI drains pretty fast because the NiCds in the dash need
replacing, ironically enough. The 443 Mustang has a Crane Hi-6
     wired
to the battery and that gives it a slow drain as well.
