Boyd,

I would call Dennis Quella and ask for his solution to your problem. (303) 660-6094. Tell Becky I sent you. :-)

My 2511 came from Dennis with a CNC 5/8" clutch master and an internal hydraulic throwout bearing.

At that time, the CNC bolt pattern required an aluminum adapter piece which Dennis supplied.
I would assume that adapter was sourced from Dennis' regular supplier - IPSCO, Mark Johnson (303) 252-4481

The Dennis sourced master was all aluminum, no SS or brass sleeve. I had rebuilt it once before, but with its obvious second failure approaching, I looked for a better option than another rebuild.

I talked with Dennis and the very knowledgeable lady that picks up the phone at CNC.

I learned CNC now makes a proper bolt pattern clutch master for the Pantera. However, it is only sold through Dennis.

But as I already had the adapter, I could again use a new CNC master with their standard bolt pattern.

CNC offers most (all?) of their masters with a SS sleeve, but the SS is an upgrade option.

I ordered a standard (NOT Pantera bolt pattern) SS sleeved master, and on Dennis' advice changed to a bore of 3/4".

Part # 701-3/4-SS -- round CNC master with SS sleeve.

So, yes you can get a SS CNC clutch master. You can get a bolt-on from Dennis, just make sure it is the SS version.

Or you can source the adapter and use one of CNC's off-the-shelf SS versions.

As for Scott's suggestion of moving to a 7/8" version, I'd check with Dennis if that is advisable when used with your long-throw slave.

Hope this helps.

Larry
