[DeTomaso] Insurance increase

I have had Hagerty since I purchased my car in 2006, and I told them it had modifications, including a 408 stroker, and my premium this year for an agreed value of $60,000 is $545 per year; the same as last year. I've had two claims, one for about $1,700.00 (caused by me) and the other for $4,000.000 (caused by a mechanic who trashed my car), and both were paid immediately with no problems and no increase in premiums.

I have to say I've never dealt with any insurance company which has taken better care of me.

Sincerely,

Chris
President, Panteras Northwest

I would second that endorsement and for the last 3 years I have had 5 cars insured through them and halved my annual insurance bill to my prior provider. They truly are customer service oriented and a call or e-mail is usually responded to in less than 24 hours.

I don't think Mike was the source, but that was the clue they probably have eyes into this list. It's the -only- place I've made any comment, and as I recall... never mentioned their name, until now. Of course Mike Drew hit the nail on the head when he said I'd been "Hagerty'ed."

Well, it seems 50 HP over stock may be the magic number (not to mention my other mods). There was no dispute that it classified as a modified vehicle.

Umm... oh heck, it was take $50 of the yearly rate if you go with a $1,000 deductible. Gee, really???? WOW! .... no thanks, I can do math in my head.
