Based on my numbers, it appears that 26.1% of all US Panteras were Yellow.

I think we all know that this should be the which color is best question to
rest...did you see the advertisements for all four years by any chance????

The last 1971 Pantera was #2292, built in December 1971. Whereas north
American Ford had been building 1972 model Fords since July of 1971, because
they manufactured automobiles based on the fiscal year.

DeTomaso began manufacturing 1974 models in July of 1973, just like Ford. My
Pantera is one of them.
