[DeTomaso] Starter Odyssey

Perhaps it is a shim plate to convert it from an auto to manual starter? #9321 has an aluminum spacer, about 1/4" thick, attached to the nose of the stock Ford starter and my theory is that it has a starter for an automatic transmission and DeTomaso converted it to manual.
