[DeTomaso] Alonso's Socks (F1 Content but no NPC)

Massa had the fastest time in both Q1 and Q2, his car broke again in the
race. Grosjean was holding Kimi up, he never tried to pass him, unlike
Vettel/Webber or Hamilton/Button, the Lotus team doesn't sabotage itself or
in the case of Daiz, totally ignore the team orders. Kimi was faster on
tires that were 6 laps older than Diaz's tires (same compound), after
passing Grosjean, Kimi easily pulled away and given another lap would have
passed Vettel.
You're right about team orders, I don't like them for anybody, but as I'm
trying to accept that it is a team sport ( oxymoronic ), the prize money is
awarded to the team, not the driver, heck in the case of McLaren, the
driver doesn't even get to keep his own trophy, the team keeps them all.
I think that Diaz might have passed Grosjean if the same extra lap for Kimi
was there to win the race.

We'll just have to disagree on everything else I guess, not worth getting
upset about. Kimi will go to Red Bull ( I hope) and with the same
equipment as Vettel, relegate him to the #2 driver in short order.
The real problem is the changing formula and it sucks, a 1.6 Turbo V6
(limited to 15,000 rpm) that consumes 100 litres of fuel in one hour, the
trouble is that the races are 90 minutes long, so the teams will have to
make judicious use of the fuel and use the revised KERS system and back off
the gas to even finish a race. I hate that the sport is going to become an
economy contest versus a performance contest.
I think it clear that Massa won't return to Ferrari next year, so who's
going to get that seat?
Massa was screwed over and I hate that for him, Hamilton never earned his
title, it was a gift.
Ferrari did well with Turbos before, next year should be better for them,
Renault has already shown their "Power Unit" for next year, curious as to
what MB and Honda come up with.
