I have the Blue Thunder intake; when we used my engine for a dyno shootout 
of ten different intakes, it performed extremely well.

Blue Thunder makes a Pantera-specific version which has a flat carb plate; 
yours is probably a standard model.   I had mine milled flat, which didn't 
take very long, and allowed the air cleaner to fit underneath the stock 
engine screen, which was important to me.
