[DeTomaso] Electronic Fuse blocks DIY for the electron heads

Found this on another forum and thought it might be interesting for those 
who have the do-it-yourself bug.


"Going back into production on a fuserail for a particular model of GMH 
commodores in Australia,

The design however is also geared towards a general purpose restoration 
market, there
are means to adapt the layout to mount in cabins or on posts in engine bays 
for any
general purpose fusing requirement for older vehicles - even back to the 
days of the
rather older cars that only had one 50A fuse !

Standard electrical spades are used for connection, with LEDs for fuse fail 
indication and
LED used for system diagnostics as well as high bright white leds used for 
engine bay
illumination with drive from a 10min timer - if its a restoration you either 
want to show it
off or work on it - either way you need some good bright lighting :-)
