Reducing exhaust sound on a 500-horse engine to a legal limit vs power 
robbing restriction is a black art that won't be easy to find= especially in the 
space available on a Pantera. Believe it or not, a few guys add cheap 
aftermarket cat-converters. The honeycomb innards seem to baffle the exhaust 
flows as well or better than 'racket-busters' attached to the tips, the price is 
similar and the guts do not blow out like glasspak exhaust tips. There was 
a recent test of cat converters used on an alcohol dragster that was 
enlightening. For the price its worth a try. Good luck- J Deryke
