New mufflers were installed today
16" magnaflows with 3" straight thru
just like the past mufflers although they
are a lot bigger cans, plus longer and they suck the sound
out of the exhaust.. when we fired her up
to check the sound I decided there is no
need to put a smaller tip so tuning should
be the same for both sets of mufflers
3" all the way thru although we did do a
little turn down on the track mufflers vs
the megaphones on my real exhaust system
 
I just need to see if I can hear the damn
thing with my helmet on... the tach has
never worked since doing the new motor
but I have always shifted by ear.. that may
not be the case now.. will do a test before
heading to Thunderhill in a few weeks
 
Can't wait until I put my real exhaust back on the
car as the new one really sucks... bad ass car
sounds a little wimpy
