Mike,

What is the temp rating of the upper (unused) temp switch, or do you just have a plug in that hole?  If
it is of a higher temp rating, try using it.

When using only one temp switch, I prefer to monitor the coolant coming out of the radiator, not going in.

You can buy a 92* C (197.6* F) from Pelican Parts for $9.75, or an 82* C (179.6* F) from Wilkinson for
$25.03, if he has that temp.
