you might not want to buy synthetic redline gear oil if you have original seals in your ZF.  the super fancy synthetic stuff caused my ZF to ooze through the output seal, dripping oil all over my beautifully detailed gear box.  given that i am putting limited miles on my finished restoration, i just put in some old fashioned thick smelly 75-90 gear oil.  And someone else told me i should have used 75-140 to minimize oozing.  After a year of seeping after removing the expensive redline synthetic, the oozing has slowed down...  justin
