The chassis number would be the first place to look. I doubt that many
narrow body cars built in the 9000 range were converted to GT5 or GT5s
specs.

So, how do you tell if a Pantera was originally built as a GT5?

Besides the presence of the obvious items like the fender flares, wrinkled
leather interior, squared rear wheelwell housings, etc...is there a sure
fire,
no doubt way to check if a car was originally a GT5 build rather than a
regular
GTS?

Is contacting the factory for records the only way to really know since
almost
every part to convert a narrow body car is being produced?
