[DeTomaso] Rear Deck Lid Hinge Pins

At what point would there be enough air flow or something over the top of
the car to unweight the hinges enough that the pin could work it's way out?
That pin is about 4" long, I've never heard of anyone having one come out
until your reference.  Interesting, and would love to here more . . .

While they are out, you may wish to drill them for safety wire or groove
them for a snap ring.  You do NOT want them accidentally coming out at
speed.  A deck lid hanging on by one hinge can wreck major damage to the
roof and both rear fenders before it finally breaks off.  Ask Mad Dog how I
know.
