[DeTomaso] Cross over exhaust tube?

Sometimes screwing things up can really teach you a lot. I have posted
these before but when I built these headers they were a screw up.

Engine run showed a huge difference cylinder to cylinder directly
related to collector sequence. Collector sequence was primaries 2 into
one then secondaries 2 into 1.

Miss match of firing order in primaries 2 into one caused a HUGE discrepancy
Difference in egt's directly related to firing order and collector sequence:

Miss match in secondary sequence undetectable!!

So here would be my assessment; not fact but belief from what I have seen.

-Unless you use 180's you can not match cylinder to cylinder per firing
order
-Once collected into 4, any gains you have to equalizing pressure would
be minimal and probably un detectable and may not exceed the normal
differences which already exist

I certainly don't believe it would harm anything, but I don't see any
measurable gains.
