[DeTomaso] coupe fan motors ground

You can make an additional ground strap and ground it to the chassis under
the shift gate plate. Use a heavy guage wire with a closed loop end and you
can attach it there or the ground post that comes through the ground post
that comes through the front fire wall next to the battery. The Pantera has
one of the worst ground setups I have ever seen on any car. You can improve
the performance of many of the electrical components by adding addition
grounds. Like an extra braided steel ground strap from the ZF the the
Chassis. an additional grouund from the starter to the chassis, an
additional ground from the common ground to the gauge panel gauges and dash
lights , the wiper motor and the radiator fans. Depending on the condition
and age of your wiring you can expect to see a noticeable improvement in
many of the electronic components by improving the ground connections.
