You GM performance is now selling the LS9 super charger that bolts right up
to the LS 3 and you can ad another 150 hp. The retail cost of the super
charger is around $6400.00 you cant touch the horsepower gain and weight
savings for the money I think if you shave off 205 lbs and have 700 hp at
the rear wheels with coil on cylinder ignition You willl have a bullet proof
motror that will blow the doors of anything with a red line of 7200 to 7500
rpm I don't think you are goin to hurt the resale. In fact I think you are
going to gve it a big boost. A Pantera is a mish mosh of parts. When ford
first colaborated with Detomaso they raided every parts bin they had. If you
are looking to build the lighest fastest most reliable sports car does
anyone really care what brand name is on the various parts?
