[DeTomaso] Mayonnaise on the dipstick

My Dad tells a story of working on his Triumph TR2 back in the day. He
had to replace the starter motor and to get to it he needed to remove
the carb. Well once the new starter was installed he tried the key to
make sure it was working. And low and behold the car started and was
running at 2000 rpms without the carbs. He immediately shut it down and
went to see if there was a problem with the starter. No problem,
started it again and again it continued to run at 2000 rpms. This time
he went to check. The fuel was dripping from the end of the fuel line
and being sucked into the intake causing the motor to run without carbs.
