Don't tell anybody, but I've been building a repair and maintenance manual
for the Pantera for some time, and I have the diagrams included with the procedures.
It is not quite ready for "prime time" but here is a master diagram page on the clutch
system:

Not that the factory and ford diagrams do not have details of the inner workings
of the slave. So really ignore this link.
In my clutch section which I am sure you have already looked at (!!!),
(and which I am now organizing) I have an unfinished page on slaves, there is a photo of
the inside parts of a blue slave JUST LIKE YOURS, note the spring:

The other photos show the external snap rings. (There is no internal snap ring on the
"stock" or aftermarket slave cylinders that I have played with.)
I have a stock slave here somewhere. I don't think it is worth tearing upon for photos,
is it?

Photos here would be soooo helpful.
Doesn't anyone have a slave cylinder not installed on their car they
could disassemble and take photos of? Consider it therapy to a man
going insane. Please.
