[DeTomaso] Water pump impeller direction

So from the outside, the water pump is turned clockwise as you face it 
and the engine.  So from this photo:

it is turning counter-clockwise, as viewed from the back.

Note the impeller blades.  What is your opinion?  Are they going the 
correct direction or not?
Be aware, this is the exact same orientation as on the Miloden.

The water pump turns freely and feels as if it has resistance by the 
coolant.

Back to the garage I go.
