Bob,
Read the article in "The Pantera Place" web page technical sectionn under
"changing the altenator" They reccomend going with the three wire 100 amp
altenator. That's what I went with and I found one at the local auto parts
store for less then $40.00. If your thinking you need a 150 amp altenator
because of ralphs car , remember he has two batteries and all those amps for
his monster stereo and all those other lights he has illuminating his engine
and the other trick lights he has.You only need those amps if you are going
to make a lowrider with neon lights and a  22 speaker stereo. Otherwise the
100 amp altenator works fine , it's cheap and it fits. Tell the auto parts
store you need an altenator  for a 1973 boss 351 mustang they have a high
output one listed , thats the one you want. If you have to pay over $40.00
let me know and I will help you find one.
