[DeTomaso] Yet another low-profile aircleaner choice

For those who were looking for a cleaner system that might fit under a stock 
engine screen but couldn't afford $280+ for a new dogbone or the same price 
for a Spectre cold-air intake, I noticed that Jegs carrys the Spectre not only 
as a system, but as parts. That means the carb-cap with integrated single (p/n 
865-9859= $76) or dual 4" intake stacks (p/n 865-9859= $80). You use 
semi-rigid aluminum 4" dryer hose to hook up the intake stack(s) to some sort of remote 
filter(s) away from engine heat & road debris. Assuming the hat-section is as 
light as it looks, and fits under your screen, of course.... Hopefully, the 
first Pantera owner to try this will post his results- and the weight of the
