IMO (I'm not a doctor, but saw a hospital once . . .)  blood pressure meds 
won't keep you from "doing something stupid" - which is pronounced "making 
an offer he won't refuse" in some places - but will keep you from having a 
stroke while you smash your fist into his face until you can feel the pillow 
behind his head.
