 Actually if you look at the piston in the shuttle valve you will see that the ends are turned down to a smaller diameter than the port so fluid will still go around and will empty the reservoir for the side that has the leak. This is the issue with believing the misinformation given out by Jack Deryke and parrotted by his faithful but uninformed followers.
