[DeTomaso] How tough are 15" factory magnesium wheels

I've used 3M high temp Hi-Vac tape with great success in keeping wheel
weights on my 911 track car. Can be found in any Ace hardware store or Home
Depot. It's used for heater ducts. I've also used plain Acetone for cleaning
the inside rims for better adhesion for the weights.

Hi all,
I never have used anything else than stick on weights on the inside of the
wheel, + very sticky race tape.
Centrifuge force will even press the weight harder.
The cleaning step is indeed mandatory, and you also have to hand turn the
wheel to check that nothing is in the way. The space between the weight and
the caliper can be as little as 2 millimiters with GR4 race calipers and 15
inch mag wheels. But 2 mill is enough, isn't it ?
