A hole in a piston and oil blown through the rear main seal..........

That's the conclusion I'm leaning toward also.  I'll get it up on stands tonight and get a better look at it.  I'll look for oil blown out the front.  I checked the balancer last week and all seemed OK.  Distributor was double pinned as well.  I'm thinking a bad 

batch of lower octane fuel, bad timing (engine and personal) and a tired engine all came together at the same time.  I didn't

build this one and I thought it might have one more run in it.  As it turned out it had about a quarter of a run left in it.  Just

hoping the Boss block and heads are not destroyed. Thanks.
