[DeTomaso] Why 2 different styles of front L type bumpers?-look at these 2 L bumper pics

The bumper on the red car is definitely not lined up flush with the top of the fender while the silver GTS shown appears to have a flush mounted bumper-(especially so when looking at the right front fender.)

I do.

Many cars are wearing fiberglass replacement L-model bumpers from Hall Pantera.  The mold shrunk, and the bumpers he's made for the past 15-20 years are physically smaller than they were originally (and smaller than the original bumper was).  The original bumper was perfectly flush with the fender.  Hall's very clearly don't fit right.

This looks a little weird, but as more and more people switch to them, the ones that look 'correct' are now the ones that look a little weird!
